Seonjeongneung Royal Tombs consist of Seolleung, the tomb of King Seongjong, the 9th ruler of Joseon Dynasty, and his consort Queen Jeonghyeon, and Jeongneung, the tomb of the 11th King Jungjong. Even though Gangnam developed rapidly in the 1970s, Seonjeongneung Royal Tombs, which is well preserved, are representative royal tombs overlooking the urban green city.
